A commissioned drawing for the lovely birdg!
Its the 2nd gen Malfoys going for a shop before little Scorpius's first day at Hogwarts. Don't let her buy you the salmon sweater kid, it's awful!
Obvy that's grown-up Draco in the background and Scorpius's mum picking clothes. I was having trouble at first because green is such a tricky color for me, and I felt like any picture with the Malfoy's in it SHOULD be green-themed. So I took a page from Makani (your favorite Harry Potter fan artist and mine!) and referenced some Earl Oliver Hurst for more pastely color scheme and that good retro feel.
And also that's their house-elf trying to balance on the shopping with little BB Barny the Barn Owl on top. Don't drop him! ^_^

The clothes in this piece are so creatively retro! The poor house elf! Awww! Is it me, or does his feet look like Bugs Bunny's? Anyway, I love your interpretation.
